Potter County Commissioners Court

Consider and act upon the following: Potter County’s group health plan coverage of oral antivirals approved under the FDA’s Emergency Use Authorization for the treatment of COVID-19; resolution to accept reimbursement funding from the Texas Secretary of State’s office for conversion to an approved auditable voting system; formalize the Joint Resolution for a Joint Primary; approval for the expenses for the live-stream cameras in the amount of $17,932.41 for Early Voting Ballot Board and Central County Station in order to comply with SB1; purchase of equipment from Dell Technologies for $88,713.80; request for addition of five temporary jail staff positions for the Sheriff; hear a report on the Potter County Detention Center; executive session if necessary.

City of Canyon Commission

Consider approval of a resolution for agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) for $182,622 in federal funding for the construction of related traffic signal improvements; consider award for onsite clinic provider services contract to CareATC, lnc.; consider items at Osage Water Treatment Plant and Hollywood Road Water Reclamation Plant; considers a resolution to authorize city manager to take action on a letter of authorization for the Amarillo Fire Department (AFD) to upgrade from a Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) First Responder Only (FRO) license to a Provider license, which would allow the AFD to transport patients when necessary; consider awarding a contract for all architecture and engineering services for the design of the new Amarillo City Transit Multimodal Terminal at 6th Avenue and Bowie Street to Sims + Architects; public hearing and first reading of an ordinance regarding nocturnal curfew for persons under age 17; first reading of an ordinance to consider amending the Amarillo Municipal Code to enable authorized code enforcement officers to assist with moving or impounding vehicles that are in violation of state law or city ordinance; public right-of-way issues, vacations and rezonings; consider award for Martin Road Lake improvements for Phases 3 and 4 for $10,888,000 for the construction of storm drain outfalls, new parking lot, fishing pond, paved walking trails and crosswalks, and improved landscaping and excavation within the west lake to achieve the city’s goals to mitigate the floodplain in this area; consider approval of Location Incentive Agreement between Amarillo Economic Development Corporation (AEDC) and Mateen Bar USA for construction of a new 800,000 square foot manufacturing facility on 77 acres in Centerport Business Park; consider Tax Abatement Agreement between city of Amarillo and AEDC and Mateen Bar USA of future taxes on the construction and equipment costs; executive session.
