Living for your brain and body
The Alzheimer’s Support Group will meet Tuesday, Dec. 14 at 7 p.m. at Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven. Laurie Welch, MPH, MCHES, Food Family and Health Educator for Penn State Extension will be the guest speaker. The Penn State Extension has partnered with The Alzheimer’s Association to provide specific Alzheimer’s educational topics, including “Healthy Living for Your Brain and Body: Tips from the Latest Research,” the topic for the December meeting.
Hymn Sing
On Sunday, Dec. 19, Peoples Church of Farrandsville will be holding their annual hymn sing. This will take place during their normal worship time of 9 a.m. Everyone is welcome.
