Democrats seek candidate for Collins justice
COLLINS — The town Democratic Committee is seeking interested individuals for the Office of town justice, a four-year term, in this fall’s Nov. 8 General Election to replace the Hon. Brian D. Gernatt, who is not seeking re-election.
Individuals should forward their letters of interest and resume to Robert Gaylord, Committee Chairperson, 180 Buffalo Street, Gowanda, NY 14070. Maple train ride dates set
Take a train ride to North Java on the A&A Railroad and learn about the maple syrup productions and visit the Kibler Sugar Shack. On the way back, enjoy a catered meal by Wayne Abbott from the Flipside.
There will be two rides each day – the first at 9 a.m. and the second at 12:30 p.m. Those dates include: Saturday, March 19, Sunday, March 20; Saturday, March 26; Sunday, March 27.
The train leaves from the Arcade & Attica Railroad, 278 Main St., Arcade.
The cost of $55 per person includes the train ride, tour of Kibler Sugar Shack and a pancake breakfast.

Library plans events for March
The Darwin R. Barker Library, located at 7 Day St., Fredonia, has scheduled events for the month of March.
A series of virtual storytimes will take place on Zoom.
Read stories together on the following mornings at 10:30 a.m.: Monday, March 7; Monday, March 14; Friday, March 18; Monday, March 21; Friday, March 25 and Monday, March 28.
Craft supply bags with instructions for three crafts will be available for pickup at the Library by Monday, March 7. Craft supply bags are available while supplies last.
All programs are free of charge. All children are welcome.

The Master Builders group meets on Thursdays at 4 p.m. Build with LEGOs, Magformers, Lincoln Logs, Snap Circuits, Marble Runs, Construx, Cubelets and more!
