Firefighters battle massive 9-alarm fire in Salisbury, Massachusetts
Firefighters fought a massive multi-alarm fire that spread to multiple buildings in Salisbury, Massachusetts, on Monday. The fire was reported early Monday morning along Central Avenue. The wind-fanned fire was reported at about 2:15 a.m. and grew to nine alarms. The fire destroyed Michael’s Oceanfront Motel and spread to at least two other residential buildings. Firefighters from several towns, including the Hampton Fire Department, assisted at the scene.The Salisbury Police Department said Salisbury Emergency Management and the American Red Cross set up a community room at the police station for anyone that was displaced.Officials have not stated if there were any injuries.
