The Florida Times-Union e-edition just expanded – offering subscribers new national and world news and sports sections that are updated late every evening.
Also, readers can now access more than 200 replicas of other Gannett newspapers through the Times-Union’s e-edition.
The new Nation & World Extra section and the new sports Extra section, which Gannett debuted March 5, can be found each day on the e-edition. It includes late-breaking news and updated information for ongoing stories that didn’t make it into print editions.
You got an idea of what these look like on Feb. 14 if you saw our Super Bowl+ section included in our e-edition.

Why should I subscribe? 6 digital benefits of a Florida Times-Union subscription
If you haven’t visited the e-edition lately, I’d encourage you to do so. You can access it from your desktop, your phone or our e-edition app.
You’ll find the replica of the Times-Union, including editions going back about a month. You can zoom in on an article or photo. Or you can look at the entire page, including the ads. At the top of the page, you can adjust the size of the text. You can even listen to an audio version of the articles.
From the e-edition, you can share links to your favorite social media channel or in an email to a friend.
One of my favorite new features is the ability for any of our subscribers to now read the e-edition for any other Gannett newspaper, from USA TODAY to the Palm Beach Post. Read the Austin American-Statesman in Texas or The Courier-Journal in Kentucky. Moved from another area with a Gannett paper? Have a favorite sports team in a different market? Look for that newspaper’s e-edition.
To do this, you must first log in to the Times-Union’s e-edition, which you can find at jacksonville-fl.newsmemory.com. Click on the “universal” button to start searching for our editions the last few weeks or other newspapers’ e-editions.
All Times-Union print and digital subscribers have access to the e-edition at no additional cost.
