Franklin

Criminal Mischief

490 block of Duane St.: A woman reported at 11:33 p.m. Thursday that a few of her windows and front door at her residence had been damaged by what appeared to be a BB gun.

Hit and Run

401 S. State St., Franklin Library: A woman reported at 2:24 p.m. Thursday that someone struck her vehicle and did not stay to exchange information.

Personal-injury accident

10:53 a.m. Thursday – Mallory Parkway and N. Morton St.

Property-damage accident

11:19 a.m. Thursday – 1775 Younce St.

Greenwood

Hit and Run

S. State Road 135 and W. Main St.: Reported at 7:23 a.m. Friday that a hit and run had occurred.

2545 Sheek Road, Chicago’s Pizza: Reported at 1:05 p.m. Thursday that a vehicle struck a box truck and left the scene.

E. Worthsville Road and N. County Road 75 E.: A woman reported at 7:32 a.m. Thursday that a vehicle was attempting to get around her and collided with the side rear bumper, then fled the scene.

Property-damage accident

8:55 p.m. Thursday – Averitt Road and W. Smith Valley Road

12:09 p.m. Thursday – Smith Valley Road and Yorktown Road

Theft

490 block of Orchardview Drive: Reported at 3:18 p.m. Thursday the theft of a stolen license plate had occurred.

Criminal Mischief

1930 block of S. County Road 100 E., Franklin: A man reported at 7:31 p.m. Thursday that damage to his property had occurred.

Jail Bookings

The following people were recently arrested and booked into the Johnson County jail:

Clifford Ray Sweet, 41, 5180 Hartshire W. Drive, Bargersville; arrested on a charge of driving while suspended with prior suspension and wanted on an out of county warrant; held without bond.

James Richard Whitney, 57, 3603 Dix Road, Indianapolis; arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court; held on $300 bond.

Thomas Lee Holmes, 60, 2779 S. Old U.S. 31, Franklin; arrested on charges of leaving the scene of a property damage crash and habitual traffic violator; released on $4,300 bond.

Jessica E. Barger, 45, 1199 Hospital Road, Lot 223, Franklin; arrested on an out of county warrant; held without bond.

Conner M. Kilpatrick, 21, 504 Orchard Lane, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of probation violation; held without bond.

Tawny Marie Reedy, 32, 560 W. Madison St., Franklin; arrested on an out of county warrant; held without bond.

Phillip Aaron May, 43, 1411 Randall Road, Indianapolis; arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court; held on $500 bond.

The following people were recently arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated and booked into the Johnson County jail:

Jeremy Michael Wertepny, 38, 1120 E. Brunswick Ave., Indianapolis; held on $1,000 bond.

Deana L. Sherfield, 25, 4947 E. County Road 575 N., Whiteland; held on $1,200 bond.
