
Rush Street Gaming, which operates Schenectady’s Rivers casino, is interested in opening a downstate facility, according to state records.

SCHENECTADY – The Rivers Casino and Resort is looking for table games dealers to hire.
The casino pays $20 an hour or more and offers a benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, company-matched 401K plans and shuttle bus service from the local CDTA blue line bus stop.
Rivers Casino is also offering a free, six-week dealer education that begins Jan. 3 with classes running on weekdays from 2:30 until 6:30 p.m. at its training center on Harborside Drive. Applicants will learn several games including blackjack, must pass a final audition and earn their New York State gaming license before being offered a full or part-time position.
Those interested must be 21 or older and willing to work all shifts including those on weekends and holidays. More information about the openings can be found on the casino’s website.
