Australian group calls for an improved Stem workforce
A better science workforce, research translation and climate change are the key federal budget priorities of Australia’s top technology and engineering body.
In a pre-budget submission to the government, the Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering says that “the coming decade will see the culmination of a unique set of challenges associated with decarbonising the economy, managing the decline of many industries and training the workforce needed for an increasingly digital future”.
